Activists of the Irish Republican organization Eirígí congregated in Dublin today with the goal to set-up a freedom camp in the Garden of Remembrance in protest of Queen Elizabeth’s visit next week. They were however denied access by the Gardai.

The UEFA Cup is displayed in Dublin in advance of next week’s UEFA Europa League final that will be played in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on the 18th May 2011.
This year’s final will be contested by two Portuguese teams F.C. Porto and S.C. Braga.
This final is the biggest televised sport event in Dublin.
